How to manage having HCI and UMail data combined

HCI Email users may already use UMail for different roles they have at the University of Utah, such as being a student, or a different academic appointment.   As part of our HCI EMail migration, the data in these mailboxes will be merged.

- "Multi-role" HCI users will still have the @hci.utah.edu address for their HCI email identity, added to any other email addresses they may already have in UMail, such as the default UNID@utah.edu, or firstname.lastname@hsc.utah.edu, @path.utah.edu, @nursing.utah.edu, etc.

- Using rules within the Outlook client or the Outlook Web Access client, it's possible to separate inbound email from the Internet into different folders within the Inbox, based on the "To address".  (These rules may not apply to email sent from within the UMail system.)

- Similarly, when sending email, it's possible to use different email "Signatures" that reflect the different roles a user may have.

(Only one default "Reply-To" address is available when sending emails outbound, within the email message itself, regardless of what the signature says.)
