Welcome to Office 2013!

A few things to note when you get Office 2013 on your PC at Huntsman:

1. The interface for Office 2013 is the same "ribbon" interface first introduced with Office 2007 and part of Office 2010.

2. The Office 2013 programs are located at Start - All Programs - Microsoft Office 2013

3.  If you have shortcuts to Office 2010 programs on your task bar, those shortcuts will still be there, but won't work (so right-click and delete them!) 

You can re-add the Office 2013 programs as task bar or Start menu shortcuts by navigating to the Office 2013 programs and right-clicking, and selecting "Add to Task Bar", or "Add to Start Menu"

4.  When your first start Word or Excel, it will ask you some some questions about customization:

"Meet Skydrive" - Select Next

"How would you like your Office to Look?" - choose one of the patterns

5. Note: Customizing Office colors is limited to a white, a light grey and a darker grey.

 

Huntsman Cancer users are licensed to use MS Office, both at work, and on home systems (for work purposes).
