Internet Explorer version 11 - Compatibility Mode

IE-11 has an important feature intended to make it compatible with earlier versions of Internet Explorer while providing better security.

If you have problems with a website with IE-11, chances are this problem can be corrected using Compatibility Mode.

Assuming you're in Internet Explorer and you've attempted to navigate to a site that has problems...

1.  Open the Tools menu within Internet Explorer either by enter Alt-T, or by selecting the Tools icon in the upper right-hand corner (hint - it look like a "gear" icon)

2. Navigate to Compatibility View Settings

3. The web address of the site you're trying to view should appear under "Add this Website". 

4. Select Add, then Close.

5. You may need to re-navigate to the web site to be sure Compatibility Mode is running.
