Connecting Macs to VPN
Navigate to the VPN website -
https://hci-vpn.hci.utah.edu
(please note you MUST include the https:// prefix if you are typing the address manually)
Log into this site with your HCH credentials. UID & HCH password & do the Duo push.
Select 'download for macOS'
Open the .dmg file it downloaded.
Open AnyConnect.pkg.
Click through the installer until you get to this point. Uncheck everything except "VPN" here. Then continue along.
You will get a popup saying "attention required". Select "Open preferences" at the bottom and click allow.
In the server field, enter hci-vpn.hci.utah.edu
In the login window that pops up, put your uID as the username. Your Password is your Huntsman password. Your second password is "push" without quotations. You will receive a Duo push. You may need to open Duo to see the prompt
You will get a notification letting you know you're connected to the VPN.
