The Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Gastrointestinal Cancer (CGA-IGC) has curated a database of high-risk clinics across North America and lists which clinical services are available for high-risk patients at each clinic as well as which are engaged in hereditary cancer research and have patient registries. Check on their website resource page here: CGA-IGC.

The Family Cancer Assessment Clinic (FCAC) at Huntsman Cancer Institute is a team of doctors and genetic counselors. They help patients find out if genes play a role in their personal or family health history.

  • Individuals who have a higher chance to develop gastrointestinal cancers due to genetic mutations or a family history of cancer may need tailored cancer screening and management plans. They can follow-up at the High-Risk GI Clinic staffed by Dr. Priyanka Kanth and Cathryn Koptiuch, CGC.
  • Patients can call 801-587-9555 for more information or visit FCAC website)
