Huntsman Cancer Institute's Patient Education Committee (PEC) is a multidisciplinary group of medical, health, communications, and patient education experts. The PEC meets regularly to address cancer patient education needs and to keep staff up-to-date with resources and best practices. All clinical patient education materials are reassessed and approved at least once every three years by PEC.
