Outlook 2019 or Microsoft 365 Outlook on Windows - resolves many problems!
If you're using a HCI managed Windows computer, you should be able to install Office 2019 via HCI's Software Center.
1. Start - (start typing) Software Center. It should appear - double click on it.
2. Within Applications, you should see a large, misshapen red "O" - this is Office 2019. Click and install it. - NOTE that the Office 2019 install will require you to close Office programs, like Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.
(NOTE - If you happen to have MS Visio or MS Project installed, Office 2019 will error upon installation)
If you're using a personally owned Windows computer and want to connect to UMail with Outlook, here's how:
1. Browse to https://office.com/login - use your UID@umail.utah.edu as a user name and your U of U password.
2. Once logged into Office.com, look for the Install Office icon in the upper right hand corner.
